Welcome to the Course

The BAS Academy Complete Workforce Development Program is a rigorous 10-week, full-time curriculum that transforms motivated candidates into job-ready Building Automation System (BAS) technicians. Developed by AME in partnership with industry leaders, this program delivers the technical depth, hands-on practice, and structured mentorship needed to succeed in today's commercial building automation field.

Through a carefully sequenced progression of lessons, knowledge checks, and on-the-job training assignments, you'll advance from foundational electrical and HVAC theory through advanced topics including DDC control programming, sensor and actuator wiring, construction document reading, commissioning procedures, and BAS startup. Weekly live office hours and Q&A forums ensure expert support is always available throughout your learning journey.

Upon successful completion of all requirements — including weekly exams, OJT skill assignments, and the Final Practicum — you will earn a nationally recognized Certificate of Completion and be added to the AME certified technician database, making your credential shareable on LinkedIn and with prospective employers.
